You can make a lasting impact on WCLC by establishing a gift to the organization through your will or living trust. Your attorney can assist you with establishing this gift. You might also consider adding WCLC as the beneficiary of your IRA or life insurance policy, which again provides a wonderful legacy gift to the organization. A legacy gift through your IRA may also have tax benefits, and we’d encourage you to speak with your tax advisor about this opportunity.

You can lower your income for tax purposes while meeting your required minimum distributions from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) and support WCLC. If you are age 70 1/2 or older, you can direct your IRA administrator to make contributions directly from your IRA to WCLC. Such contributions will count toward your required minimum distributions starting at age 72 (73 if you reach age 72 after Dec. 31, 2022) but will not count as income to you! We encourage you to speak with your tax advisor on how to take advantage of this tax savings opportunity.

WCLC accepts gifts of stock, which provides a great opportunity to immediately support our organization, while also managing the tax implications of your investment portfolio. Bonds, mutual funds, or ETFs (exchange-traded funds) can also be gifted to a nonprofit. If you are interested in these giving opportunities, please contact Exemplar Financial Network on executing your gift.
