Businesses, schools, and organizations enter teams to support our adult education mission and compete for the winning trophy. Help us cheer on our community’s “Super Spellers!”

The WCLC Bee Benefit heightens community awareness, shares our impact, and increases the understanding of the vital role that adult education and literacy play in our community.  

This is not your traditional fundraiser! It is an evening of competition, fun, and excitement. Adult spelling teams of two people compete against each other in elimination rounds until the last team standing wins. As the spelling happens, spectators may spell along at their tables. 

WCLC has served over 2,000 people with basic education needs. Students who have participated in our no-cost, individualized tutoring were able to find employment, improve their position at work, go on to post-secondary education, and/or become citizens.

100% of the Bee proceeds will support WCLC’s mission to educate and partner with adult learners to reach their literacy goals, thereby empowering themselves, their families and communities.
